BioClean is a specialised concentrated biological blend for multi surface cleaning. It effectively combines biodegradable surface surfactants, beneficial bacterial strains and fresh fragrance, which digest organic debris at the source.

Multi surface cleaning materials have been utilised in areas known to have bad hygiene and contamination, primarily within toilets and public sanitation areas. No matter how clean the area appears, the bad smell always seems to linger, whether it is a 5 star hotel or some other frequently used public environment.

Many different types of cleaner have been used, with little or no affect as the smell of ammonia permeates the environment.

Moreover, bad odours are not limited to the toilet facilities, as many other areas frequently suffer from unpleasant smells, which can be overcome by the use of BioClean.

The Product and Solution

BioClean is a specialised concentrated biological blend for multi surface cleaning. It effectively combines biodegradable surface surfactants, beneficial bacterial strains and fresh fragrance, which digest organic debris at the source. The bacteria are specially selected strains of bacillus, which produce enzymes to digest organic soilings, greases and malodours. The microbes in BioClean effectively penetrate porous surfaces and establish effective self-renewing bio films deep inside inaccessible surfaces.

When used as directed, it is safe to use, safe for the environment, non-flammable and readily biodegradable. The surfactants contained in this preparation comply with the biodegradability criteria, as laid down in Regulation (EC) 648/2004.

  • Used to clean hard and soft surfaces and routinely to clean washroom areas, particularly floors where urine can permeate causing unpleasant smells
  • Used to damp-mop floors in high traffic areas. Regular use makes cleaning easier as more bacteria are produced to digest dirt and odours, giving a more thorough clean

  • Used in spas and recreational centres and in particular in changing rooms, showers and poolside areas to safely combat body fats, grime and lime scale

Usage instructions

See below for specific dosage details:-

Hard surface cleaning (washrooms etc.) - dilute product 1:30 (i.e. 32ml concentrate to 968ml water) to 1:50 (i.e. 20ml concentrate to 980ml warm water).

Scale reduction and pipe cleaning - dose a 20 ml shot nightly into urinals, sinks and drains.

Urinal cleaning - Dilute product 1:4 (i.e. 200ml concentrate to 800ml water) and spray liberally around urinal area.

Odour Reduction (washrooms etc.) - Spray liberally either neat or diluted 1:30 (i.e. 32ml concentrate to 968ml water) to 1:50 (i.e. 20ml concentrate to 980ml warm water), no need to rinse

For hard surfaces - Make up the cleaning solution in a bucket and damp mop over the floor. There is no need to rinse, as BioClean will continue to digest dirt and grease as the floor dries. The solution can also be applied through a trigger sprayer, i.e. spray on and wipe off.

For soft surfaces - Such as floorboards, remove as much heavy soiling as possible and then, spray BioClean solution over the surface, ensuing that complete wetting has taken place. The soiled area must be kept damp, i.e. “If the surface dries, the action dies”.

Dispose of used mop water into drains to enhance the microbial activity throughout the plumbing lines.

BioClean is a biological cleaning product and performs best at neutral. It should be noted that BioClean should not be used along with other chemical solutions such as bleach.

BioClean should not be used on food preparation areas. Instead, BioSmart’s Sanitizer product (BioCidal) should be used, as this will kill any bacteria that are present on food preparation surfaces.

Health & Safety

BioClean as supplied is irritating to eyes and therefore, avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek immediate medical advice. Product contains naturally occurring non-pathogenic bacterial cultures. Wash hands after use and avoid contact with drinking water sources. For best results, store product in a cool, dry place.
