BioBlock’s primary application is in sewage pumping stations, wet wells, grease traps and other low oxygen situations, where unpleasant odours and unhygienic conditions are considered a problem and which invariably need harmful chemical or mechanical treatment.
A specialised, slow release biological blend for breaking down grease and other organic matter typically associated with the drain environment. The specially selected bacterial strains in BioBlock are capable of digesting cellulose, fats, oils and greases, proteins and starch in waste water systems.
The bacteria in BioBlock are more effective than conventional or other enzyme based products, as BioBlock continuously produces a biofilm, which produces a renewable supply of highly active enzymes for fat and grease degradation. The biofilm adheres to the drainage system walls and is highly resistive to cleaning fluids and other similar chemicals and therefore, provides long lasting protection.
BioBlock eliminates FOG’s (fats, oils and greases) and thus, keeps the drains clear, ensuring pumping stations are left working at maximum efficiency. BioBlock also eliminates bad smells and makes it less attractive for vermin (rats, cockroaches) to survive, as it removes their food source.
Overall, BioBlock not only penetrates the dosing area but due to its ability to spread its biofilm, it affects the whole infrastructure of the drainage system. Moreover, because it eliminates the need to use toxic chemicals, the environment is greatly enhanced, as there is no pollution and the results are seen within days, not months.

BioBlock is quick and easy to install and is supplied as either BioBlock Mini or BioBlock Maxi and this is dependant upon the 'dosing' requirements. For Wet Well volumes up to 1000 litres use BioBlock Mini. For volumes greater than 1000 litres, use BioBlock Maxi. BioBlock Mini will last 3 to 6 weeks and BioBlock Maxi should last 2 to 3 months, dependant upon the location of the block in the tank.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek immediate medical advice. BioBlock is harmful and hands should be washed after use. Avoid contact with drinking water and foodstuffs. For best results, store product in a cool, dry place.
